What our antifouling service covers

A pinnacle of boat care and maintenance, antifouling stops marine life building up on your hull. Left too long, that growth affects the structure, makes the boat harder to steer and causes it to drag through the water.

We start by cleaning and sanding the hull to remove any organisms already living on it, then apply premium primers to prep the surface. Propellers and running gear are antifouled with coatings developed for aluminium. When build-up gets excessive we also offer a full hull scrapeback and sandblasting service to take the hull back before recoating.

Can you antifoul a boat that lives on a trailer?

Yes. We antifoul boats staying on the water and boats stored on a trailer, and we match the system to how your boat is kept.

How long does the job take?

It depends on the size of the vessel and the state of the hull. A straightforward antifoul is usually a few days including cure time. We will give you a timeframe with your quote.
